Isys was born in Brussels in 1968. The daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of artists, she has been steeped in art since her early childhood. In 2000 she moved to a remote part of the Andalusian hills in Spain.

From the age of six her father, the Belgian master of contemporary painting Ferdinand Pire, educated Kad artistically. At the same time her academic education included history of art, dramatic art, lyric song and engraving in Brussels and art restoration in Florence, Italy.

She began her career in Paris in the famous Gallery Daniel Delamare, as a reproduction painter. During this time she was preparing her first exhibition in Belgium on the theme of fencing, a sport that she practices at a high level.

Her meeting with the famous English architect and sculptor Paffard Keatinge-Clay led her towards compositions with cubist and later constructivist tendencies. The lines are a central axis of movement, always dominant in Isys’s paintings

In 2006 Kad was included in the Dictionary of Belgian Painters of the 20th Century.
