A Sculptural World of Myth and Imagination
Mythology and storytelling sit at the heart of Reche’s practice. Drawing inspiration from classical myths, Mediterranean folklore and universal archetypes, his sculptures explore the enduring themes that connect us across cultures and centuries.
Rather than illustrating a story directly, Reche captures fleeting moments; figures caught in contemplation, transformation or quiet strength. These fragments of narrative invite viewers to create their own interpretations, encouraging a personal connection with each piece.
There is often a subtle sense of humour or intrigue within his work. Characters appear thoughtful, curious or playful, creating sculptures that feel alive with personality.
The Energy of Bronze
Reche’s process begins with clay, wax or plaster. Tool marks and textures remain visible in the final piece, preserving the energy and immediacy of the artist’s hand. The sculptures are then cast in bronze using the lost-wax casting technique, a method that has been used for centuries to create fine sculpture. This process captures every detail of the original model, resulting in beautifully textured surfaces and rich patinas. Working in limited editions ensures that each sculpture maintains its rarity while allowing collectors to share in these remarkable works.

Classical Influence with a Contemporary Spirit
While the influence of classical mythology is clear, Reche’s sculptures feel distinctly modern. His figures balance tradition with contemporary expression, bringing ancient stories into today’s world.
This blending of past and present is part of what makes his work so compelling. The sculptures resonate on multiple levels; visually striking, emotionally engaging and intellectually intriguing. Each piece offers something new the longer you spend with it, revealing subtle gestures, textures and narratives that unfold over time.
