Introducing Sebastien Levigne

It is with great pleasure we announce the launch of French artist Sebastien Levigne.  We are delighted to be able to exhibit his original works in the gallery and hope that you will love it as much as we do.

Sebastien was born in Rochefor sur Mer in 1975.  Whilst studying for a PhD in Bio-Chemistry he discovered his love for art and spent many years after working on his own artistic style.  His work focuses on the theme of "walls" and the traces left on them by man over time, recording life's occasions.  The subject of his art is anecdotal and the result is an intriguing journey through time.

Introducing Philippe Aird

It's been a busy time here at the gallery with yet another new artist to join the Paragon. Abstract artist Philippe Aird is the latest to be exhibited by us and we are very proud to be able to represent him here in Cheltenham.

His medium is described as liquid glass, and that is exactly how it appears on the canvas, forming layers of colour and transparency that are bright, bold and captivating.  Philippe's paintings are unlike any other work we currently exhibit and they certainly make a very interesting and diverse addition, come and take a look.

The Paragon Launches Justin Weeks

This week sees the launch of another talented artist at the Gallery.  Brighton based abstract artist Justin Weeks has joined us and his original oil paintings are now on display.  Justin creates intriguing and explosive works in oil, using many tools other than the brush and the palette knife to get the desired effect.

"I try not to imitate anything but aim for the paintings to exist naturally by letting the process lead...A subconscious force takes over...images emerge that resemble weather worn surfaces, stormy imaginary terrains and objects suspended in ambiguous atmospheres".

Ger Sweeney Joins The Paragon Gallery

We are very proud to announce that Irish abstract artist Ger Sweeney has joined the Paragon Gallery.  Ger describes his paintings as being a distillation of landscape and abstraction.  They are inspired by the land, sea, sky and light of Co. Mayo where Ger lives, but remain abstract in style, with favoured use of horizontal lines and bands of colour.  Ger has work in private and corporate collections across Europe, the USA, Argentina and Brazil.

Read more about Ger on his Gallery page.  We hope to see you in the gallery soon!
